Searching for Chaos in Cellular Automata: New Tools for Classiication

چکیده

We present new tools allowing a formal classiication of cellular automata, i.e. trans-nite attraction and a kind of Hamming distance. We also investigate a class of complex aperiodic systems. This brings new insights in understanding spatio-temporal chaos for the class of discrete-time multi-dimensional systems.
